Join us for a day where our smaller trains take over the railway. Enjoy train rides all over the railway from Burtonshaw to Angel Green, as well as the Glen Dowd branch line from Belvedere to Lake End. We will be running a mixture of smaller steam and battery electric locomotives, allowing you to enjoy a mixture of locomotives. More information will be available as we get closed to the event.

The Barnards Miniature Railway will be running train services on this day. Gates open at 11:00 and the last train leaves at 16:00. Trains run at regular intervals through the day. Please note the railway is usually very busy when we open at 11, to avoid the longer waiting times we recommend you arrive after we have opened.

Please note the gardens are closed to the public on this day. Therefore no garden entry fee, just the fee for the railway.
