Community

We are a small band of volunteers whose aim is to present the interesting history of the British Bata Shoe Co Ltd, its fascinating industrial and architectural heritage, and the social history of those who worked for the Bata company and the people who lived on the Bata residential estate. We also aim to keep the name of Bata alive. Have a look at our website for more details and how to contact our chairman.

Open day events and the ability to visit the centre are currently restricted by Covid-19. We are really sorry about this and do hope, most sincerely, that we can get back to some form of normality at some point in 2021.

HOWEVER, WE ARE STILL OPEN ONLINE:

You are welcome to browse our website, Facebook page and Twitter account (@BataHC15), which all remain active.

Should you want to make contact with us, then please use the email address of [email protected].
