The Monitoring Strategy Manager is a pivotal leadership position within our broadcast technology organization, focused on advancing the frontiers and design and build a consistent and innovative strategy for video and transmission monitoring. This role is dedicated to managing the technical aspects of video and transmission workflow monitoring, ensuring that operations have the proper support in delivering our broadcast solutions at the highest quality across various platforms. What you'll do:

• Lead Video Monitoring Initiatives: Direct strategic initiatives focused on defining and implementing monitoring requirements across operational domains, ensuring alignment with service reliability goals and operational excellence. Actively engage with operational teams to guide them in identifying key monitoring needs and supervise the development of scalable, integrated monitoring solutions.

• Innovate and Improve : Push the boundaries of current video monitoring by researching and integrating the latest monitoring solutions , and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Leverage Data for Monitoring Excellence: Champion a data-driven approach to monitoring by utilizing operational metrics, logs, telemetry, and analytics to identify trends, detect anomalies, and uncover optimization opportunities. Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to build intelligent dashboards, predictive models, and advanced alerting systems that enhance visibility, responsiveness, and the ability to anticipate incidents before they impact service quality.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong bridges across diverse team functions. You'll play a key role in connecting strategy and analysis with data insights and platform operations, fostering alignment and shared ownership throughout the entire monitoring lifecycle -from requirement definition to solution design and implementation .
• Collaborate with Cross- Functional Teams : Work closely with the Product Team, Core Engineering Team, Video Engineering Team as well as with Architects to align monitoring capabilities with market needs and the overall product architecture , ensuring seamless integration and performance scalability .
• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively , manage budgets for video monitoring projects , and oversee the monitoring engineering team to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget .

• Expertise in Systems reliability and monitoring: deep understanding of operational approaches, with a background in developing monitoring and observability solutions.

• Understanding of end-to-end video processing workflows, with a strong background in designing solutions for high-demand broadcast environments.

• Leadership and Team Management Skills : Proven ability to lead a team of engineers , fostering an environment of innovation , accountability , collaboration , and driving projects to successful completion .

• Strategic Vision: Ability to see the bigger picture and align video monitoring strategies with broader company goals, driving innovation while maintaining both practical project management and operational excellence.

• Demonstrates a clear understanding of strategic objectives and proactively drives initiatives that align with and support the successful execution of the organizational vision.

• Problem-Solving Prowess: Skilled at navigating technical and process-related challenges and optimizing video monitoring to meet the demands of modern broadcasting while maintaining a consistent and coherent approach aligned with the requirements gathered from operational teams.

• Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities , capable of explaining complex video technologies to non- technical stakeholders and effectively collaborating with other teams .
