Salary: £30,000 per annum

We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our client in Thurrock. This role is key to ensuring the maintenance, service, and repair of plant and machinery, delivering excellent service to customers

Duties of a Service Engineer:

  • Diagnose, service, and repair electrical, hydraulic, petrol, and diesel-powered equipment.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Service Centre Manager and wider team to maintain high service standards.

What we would like from a Service Engineer:

  • Proven background as a Service Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • IT proficient (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated with good time management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and ability to read technical drawings (advantage).
