The Port of Tilbury is looking to recruit a Learning & Development Coordinator to join its busy, dynamic team.

As the first point of contact, you will organise and coordinate all training requirements for Port of Tilbury employees and external clients.

About the role

Reporting to our Learning and Development Manager, this is a great opportunity to progress your career in a busy, diverse and interesting environment.

You will be providing administrative and general support to the Learning & Development Team and liaising with Port wide departments, external clients and stakeholders.

You will be making effective decisions, be highly organised and able to prioritise deadlines.

As the Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our learning and development systems and processes. You will also be responsible for the Learning Management System and be the 'go-to' person for responding to any user queries whilst also striving to look for ways to further enhance and develop system capability. 

Other key duties will include undertaking regular audits to ensure compliance with our quality assurance standards, coordinating and tracking budgets and providing support for all internal and external activities. 

Candidate Requirements

You should have excellent IT, communication, numeracy and interpersonal skills with a flexible attitude to work.

You will be able to make effective decisions, be highly organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines.

Experience of HR / Training systems and working confidentially would be useful .

You will have demonstrated relevant administrator or coordinator experience, ideally in an Learning & Development environment.
