Class 2 Driver/ Loader

Location: Grays

Pay rate: 17.38 per hour

Short term 2 months with possibility of a permanent position.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves driving a Class 2 vehicle and assisting with manual loading/unloading tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely collection and disposal waste, while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with health & safety and driving regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive and operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle on designated routes.

Assist with loading and unloading of waste

Work as part of a two- or three-person crew, cooperating with loaders and supervisors.

Maintain a professional attitude and provide good customer service on site.

Comply with all road safety, driving hours, and health & safety regulations.

Essentials

HGV Class 2 licence

Must be able to fulfil the requirements of a physically demanding role

Must be willing to work in all outdoor weather conditions
