A luxury Lamborghini has been taken off the road by police after reports it was being driven at about 80mph (129km/h) in a 30mph (48km/h) zone.
Essex Police seized the Huracan in Southend-on-Sea after multiple people said it was being driven dangerously on Saturday afternoon (5 September).
The Lamborghini Huracan has an on-the-road recommended retail price of £238,195.
It was seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, which was strengthened earlier this year to give police more seizure powers.
The legislation can be used where an officer reasonably believes a car is causing or likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to the public.
The owner of a seized vehicle has to attend the car pound within seven working days and with the correct documentation or the car could be scrapped!
