Updated: Accident causes crossing delays but bridge approach now clear

Updated: The approach was clear by 9am.

THE legacy of an early morning crash on the approach to the QEII bridge on the M25 continues to cause delays.

The accident happened at around 6.30am but at 8.30am it was reported that the bridge approach and access roads in the area were very congested, with lengthy tailbacks on the motorway.
