Civic Hall clash: Police seek witnesses after big brawl at Thurrock sporting event

POLICE are appealing for information following a large fight at a sporting event in Grays where a number of people were assaulted.

It was reported a fight involving a large group of people had broken out at a boxing event at the Impulse Leisure Centre in Blackshots Lane at around 9.40pm last night (Saturday, 7 March).

Officers have identified four men and a woman who were assaulted and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson says: "If you saw anything, have any video footage, or have any other information please call us on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/36784/20 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
