ORCHARDS Forum volunteers were out and about on Saturday morning (10 July) clearing rubbish from alleyways around Grove Road and William Street in Grays.

A small team of volunteers dragged a huge amount of fly tipping and other waste from the alleyways.

A spokesperson for the group added: "Unfortunately, we had to leave the debris at the side of the road to be collected in the week as Thurrock Council is no longer able to support efforts on a weekend."
