Crews attended and treated a female patient at the scene before transporting her to the Royal London Hospital for further assessment and care."

Local roads were blocked by police while the incident was dealt with but they reopened by 4pm.

This evening Nub News was given an update on the patient's condition in hospital. She has suffered superficial facial injuries, broken bones and some cuts and bruises but is expected to make a full recovery.
