Protest arrests: 35 people are released 'under investigation' after Thurrock incident

ESSEX Police has announced that the 35 people who were arrested during a demonstration by the Insulate Britain campaign group in Thurrock yesterday (Wednesday, 13 October) have been released.

No charges have been brought as yet.

A statement by the force following the incident which took place at Junction 31 of the M25 and its adjoining roads, including London Road in West Thurrock, says: "Thirty-five people who were arrested yesterday following reports of people blocking the road in two locations in Thurrock have been released under investigation."
