Spoof news highlights all the great things at Treetops where spirits are high despite lockdown!

By Neil Speight 8th Apr 2020

CREATIVE teachers at Treetops Special School in Grays have come up with another video celebrating the work of children and aiming to lift spirits during the coronavirus crisis.

Their last effort, a dance compilation to Olly Murs' Dance With Me Tonight proved a big hit.

Now teacher Owen Jefferies and his colleagues are back with a ten minute comedic report on news from the school.

It stars a list of comic characters, Chet Barrington (Aaron Mayo), Brad Brady (Sean Green), Sunshine Day (Amy Johnston) and Justin Jackson (Owen Jefferies).

Owen explains what it's all about.

"In order to celebrate and champion the work which the students at Treetops have been completing while on lockdown, Treetops has created a news programe to recognise the ongoing efforts by their pupils, as well as setting challenges to complete at home with their families," he says.
