She also gives some insight into the history of the site that currently houses Orsett Hospital, which is set for closure and demolition.

THURROCK'S Thameside Theatre will be rocking to the hit sounds of one of the UK's most iconic bands next week.

The Best of Queen – The Break Free Tour whill be at the Grays Theatre on Friday, 4 March featuring the Queen Tribute band – Majesty, in a brand-new show. They will be performing The Best of Queen, while celebrating the music and showmanship of the UK's favourite rock band.

WHEN Orsett House was built in 1740 by Captain Samuel Bonham it was the most important building in the village until Orsett Hall was extended in 1780.
