300 up and still marching. Walkers celebrate with a stride or two and lunch

MEMBERS of a community walking group celebrated their 300th outing together with lunch at a country pub today (Tuesday, 9 September).
The SS17 Walking Group is based at Hardie Park in Stanford-le-Hope, from where most of its weekly journeys begin.
But occasionally they travel further afield and today they walked around Orsett, starting and finishing at the Kings head pub - which was also the venue for lunch afterwards.
