'Your Place' events will be held online as council creeps towards a local plan

AS it slowly creeps towards compilation of its massively behind schedule Local Plan, Thurrock Council has begun a new process of consultation and is to hold a series of virtual events so that communities can share their views.

The following events are taking place, when residents are invited to participate and have a say on the future growth and infrastructure requirements for your area up to 2040. Residents who do not live in one of the identified growth areas can also have their say by visiting this link.

Scheduled online events include:

Orsett

Saturday, 5 February - 11am to midday, 12:30pm to 1:30pm or 2pm to 3pm

East Tilbury

Tuesday, 8 February - 6pm to 7pm or 7:30pm to 8:30pm

Saturday, 12 February - 11am to midday, 12:30pm to 1:30pm or 2pm to 3pm

Bulphan

Tuesday, 22 February- 6pm to 7pm or 7:30pm to 8:30pm

Saturday, 26 February - 11am to midday, 12:30pm to 1:30pm or 2pm to 3pm

Chadwell St Mary

Monday, 28 February- 6pm to 7pm or 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Saturday, 5 March- 11am to midday, 12:30pm to 1:30pm or 2pm to 3pm

Due to uncertainty around Covid-19 restrictions at the time of launching these events, they are taking place virtually, via Microsoft Teams. The links to join the above events will be available on the Your Place, Your Voice website - shortly before they are due to take place.
