Plea to local folk to share the love over 6,000 miles

A BOROUGH baker has launched a fundraising effort to try to save and improve the quality of life for his nephew, who is enduring a health battle in Bolivia.
Sergio Aguilera runs Grays-based 'Mr B Brownies', which supplies custom-made brownies.
He has set up the fundraising page to try and meet the cost of health care for one-year-old Milos, who was diagnosed with severe bilateral vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). He was born with this condition and had his first operation at just five days old.
Mr Aguilera takes up the story: "Unfortunately, due to his size at the time not everything could be corrected and he recently had to undergo a much more serious operation.

"Milos lives in Bolivia, where medical care and hospital treatment are not free. So far, my family and I have spent £35k on surgeries, treatment and hospital stays. We now face an additional £30k in costs for ongoing treatment and essential follow up care.
"We simply don't have the funds to cover the remaining amount, which is why we created the GoFundMe page,
"Some incredibly kind people have already helped but we are still far from reaching the total needed. To any local people who might be able to help I would like to say 'Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you're able to offer'."
The fundraising page can be found via this link.
