MINOR changes are planned to a planned and approved development of six bungalows in a rural location in Thurrock.

The original application was submitted to Thurrock Council in October 2024, and formally approved on May 9, 2025. The green light for the development, the latest in a string of applications in the area, was reported by Nub News in May last year.

A year on, the agent for the development has submitted updated plans that change the pitched roof angle to 35 degrees to allow more internal lighting and include mofre solid coursing to the new homes.

"The S73 application seeks minor adjustments which would assist with build-ability and improve the usability of the first-floor accommodation", planning documents said.
