A BOROUGH sandwich shop is opening its doors to young people to enjoy a Good Friday treat.

Propersnax at 44 Broadway, Grays, will host a fun event on Friday (9 March) which will include a children's tea party.

The fun will include facepainting at 11am and at 1pm the Easter Bunny will be hopping along.

There will be an egg for every child who visits.

Propersnax opened its doors for the first time last July and has proved a popular spot - and staff have engaged with lots of local community events.

The shop's Wendy Mills said: "It's our first year to celebrate Easter and it's my favourite time of year!

"I'm bringing the Easter Bunny into the shop along with a facepainter and we will be giving all our favourite customers an egg.

"Bring your children to celebrate with us, it's free entry, but please buy a coffee or tea whilst the kids are having fun

"We look forward to seeing all our locals on the day. We've also got raffle prizes to give away and goodies to be won in a free tombola
