Services dealt with early morning medical emergency in Tilbury

RESIDENTS in Tilbury were disturbed in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, 27 March) .

Emergency services arrived at a residence on Leicester Road after an alarm, was raised around 3.30am.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called just before 3.40am with reports of a medical emergency outside an address on Leicester Road in Tilbury.

"Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and a response car from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.

"One patient, an adult female, was transported to the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre for further treatment."
