A13 slip road closure means no exit to the left at Orsett Cock junction heading east.

By Neil Speight 24th Apr 2021

MOTORISTS and residents are reminded that there is a slip lane closure on the A13 at the Orsett Cock roundabout which will run until 5am on Monday (26 April).

The A13 eastbound exit slip road off the A13 to the roundabout is closed. In order to exit at the junction traffic needs to carroy on to the Manorway roundabout (A1014 junction), leave the A13 there and travel back again on the A13 westbound.

Over the weekend there is also one lane closed around the Orsett Cock roundabout.

Yesterday (Friday, 23 April) that - coupled with the closure of Heath Road because of gas works - caused considerable backlogs of traffic and delays.

It is not known if there will be more closures of Heath Road where work is ongoing.
