A SIGNIFICANT crash on the flyover at Sadlers Farm junction on the A13 caused major traffic distruption.

Following a collision on the flyover some debris fell on vehicles below.

A police statement said: "We are currently on the scene of a serious collision involving multiple vehicles on the A13, Pitsea flyover.

"Officers were called shortly after 2:30pm on Saturday, 1 July following reports of a collision.

"Police are supporting Essex Fire and Rescue and the ambulance service at the scene.

"The road is currently closed from Sadlers Farm roundabout. Tesco roundabout is also closed. "
