Advent idea to help build up Christmas stock at borough Foodbank

A PLEA has gone out to Thurrock residents to support the borough's foodbank charity during November by saving an item aday to create a box of goods than can be donated.
Thurrock Foodbank has published its pre-Christmas advent calendar wish-list and is asking residents to then deliver the 30 items to its HQ and warehouse in Corringham.
The warehouse, at 2 to 4 Chase Road (SS17 7QH), is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3om.
