All the fun of the fair as Tilbury gets ready to light up

By Neil Speight 28th Nov 2022

RESIDENTS in Tilbury are reminded that the town's annual lights switch on will take place on Friday, 2 December.

The epicentre of attention will be Civic Square where there will be performances by local children, a funfair and (at 4.30pm) the arrival of Father Christmas who will then be available for visitors in his grotto at the Sunshine Centre.

The event has been organised by the Tilbury Riverside Project and this year has been sponsored by Tevva, which is based in the town.
