A WEEK after Thurrock Nub News reported live from a major fly-tipping incident between Tilbury and West Tilbury another major dumping has blocked a rural road in the same place tonight.

Gun Hill, on the approach to West Tilbury is the scene of another indiscriminate fly-tip, with the criminals leaving the back of a vehicle open and driving up the incline leaving gravity to empty the load all over the road.

Thurrock Council has been alerted and a clean-up crew are reported to be en-route.

This evening East Tilbury ward councillor Fraser Massey said: "It is clear a group of professional fly tippers are making this area a hot spot.

"I will be asking the Council to consider options to tackle this. The council will also need the help of the Police. As well as being dangerous it is highly illegal.

"To residents please only use registered waste clearance companies and ask to see the waste transfer license details. Sadly some are making profit of turning our lanes into dumping spots."
