Another Marshfoot junction crash

THERE is some disruption to traffic this morning after another crash at the controversial Marshfoot A1089 junction.

Despite multiple accidents at the point where the Dock Approach Road on/off sliproad meets Marshfoot Road and a previous report by police that the junction requires change, Thurrock Council insists it is not problematic.

Today's accident happened around 7.30am and it may take time to remove the two vehicles involved - though access is possible with caution.

Police and ambulance teams attended the incident. One vehicle was removed from the scene at 9am and it was expected the scene would be completely cleared by 9.30am.

Last month two people had to be cut free from a major crash at the site.
