Appeal for witnesses after robbery in which gang assaulted man in park

POLICE are appealing for witness following a robbery in Belhus Park, Aveley on Friday, 15 May at around 3:30pm.

A young man was approached by a group of five young men and got into a verbal altercation.

The group then assaulted the man who sustained a broken hand, and they stole a number of items including a small speaker.
