PUPILS from Arthur Bugler Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope reached for the stars when they took part in their annual Aspirations Day.

In the morning, children attended a jam-packed Careers Fayre where they got to meet and greet a wide-range of businesses from across the local area.

During this session, children experienced life as a fire-fighter, policeman, fitness coach, singer, youth worker, journalist and beyond!

In the afternoon, children were invited to take part in a range of different workshops.

The purpose of the workshops was to give the children more time to explore different occupations in more detail.

From App Development to Hairdressing; the possibilities were endless and showed the children that anything really is possible!

Deputy Headteacher, Amanda Lewis said, "Aspirations Day was a great success. It was lovely to see so many local organisations come together to encourage our children to develop their future aspirations. It is events like this that really showcase how incredible our local community is'.

As part of the event, children were also encouraged to take part in Arthur Bugler Primary's 'Dream Big' competition whereby they had to detail what their future aspirations are.

Winners of the competition will be in with a chance of winning Kidzania tickets, an ITV Studio Tour and so much more!

Special thanks from the school goes to all of the local businesses that supported the event and for encouraging the children to dream big!
