Thurrock secondary school places: 72.1% of children get first choice
THURROCK Council has announced that just under three-quarters of children in the borough were awarded their first choice of secondary school for the new academic year.
First choice picks were granted to 72. 1 per cent of applications, up from 71.2 last year.
- 4 per cent of pupils who are expected to begin secondary school this September have been offered one of their three top school preferences, an increase from 87.9% in 2019.
