THE Aveley and Kenningtons Community Forum has called off its meeting set for Tuesday (17 March).

Spokesperson Teresa Webster says: "We have the best interest of the community at heart. We do not want to put any of you at risk due to the current coronavirus outbreak.

"We have taken the sensible decision to cancel our next public meeting which would have been on Tuesday. We further understand that the virus is expected to peak in a further 10-14 weeks.

"Therefore we will continue to monitor the current situation. Kind Regards, Aveley and Kenningtons Community Forum.
