Bid to change Tilbury site and store asbestos waste

THURROCK Council planners are being asked to approve access arrangements for a light industrial site in Tilbury to be used as a transfer station and for the temporary storage of asbestos waste.

The application has been submitted by Zed Property Developments Ltd, of Thames House, St Andrew's Road, Tilbury.

They have supplied the council with details of a survey carried out by a specialist firm who have highlighted several problems with the existing access, including signage issues and the potential for flooding, but they say solutions have been found and the site, which is close to Tilbury rail station, will be safe when in operation.

Full details of the application can be found via the red button below.
