FOR a third day running Thurrock Council has suspended bin collections.

A statement from the council issued at 1.38pm said: "While crews were able to complete some collections during the morning, dangerous conditions have forced the teams to cancel their routes.

"Any waste which has been missed this week will be collected on the usual day next week, along with a reasonable amount of side waste (one to two bags).

"We ask that any bins which have not been collected this week are taken back in and put out again on the usual day next week. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
