THURROCK Council has announced that many of its waste crews will be working through next week's bank holiday, collecting general waste and recycling on both Jubilee Bank Holidays (Thursday, 2 June and Friday, 3 June), with garden waste collections moving to Saturday, 4 June.

The only roads that will not get a scheduled collection on those days are roads which are closed for street parties. All three of their bins will be collected on Saturday, 4 June as well.

Aside from the changes to collections of brown garden waste bins on Thursday and Friday, it means that all waste collections will take place on their normal scheduled day next week.
