THURROCK'S TipToe Stage School is celebrating the end of a very busy year with some great news.

It was announced this week that three of the school's pupils have been chosen to compete in the 2023 Dance World Cup finals.

Taking place in June, Lily-Ella Morris (11), Megan Bristow (13) and Reed Cooke (nine) will be making the journey to Braga in Portugal to represent the borough and United Kingdom!

The girls will be part of a national group performance and it's extra special because each of them entered with solo performances and they all ranked in the top 25 entries from the whole of the UK. This was from more than 2,000 selected submissions.

Commenting on their success, the school's Principal, Julie Barker, said: "What an amazing thing to hear as we take our Christmas break. I cannot tell you how proud all of us at TipToe are of the three girls. They're a pleasure to teach and always try their very best – and it's thrilling to see their hard-work pay off. We're beyond excited for them."

TipToe are heading towards their 40th anniversary and offer classes in all genres, with learning in a safe and trusted environment. Offering either amazing opportunities if you are interested in making performing a career, or are just looking for a fun hobby. With all inclusive classes for everyone regardless of age.
