Bowls club offers a warm welcome at Blackshots

A THURROCK sports club has opened up its doors to new members – and whatever your age or sex, you will find a welcome there.

Grays Town Bowls Club is based at Blackshots, next to the Civic Hall, and is is looking for new members to join or to try out the sport.

The club is hosting open coaching sessions every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm, has a club night every Friday and is inviting people to come and try out the rinks on Saturdays from 12 noon onwards. All you need is a pair of flat shoes!

The offer to try bowls is open to all ages and abilities and the club offers facilities.
