Boy arrested after burglary

POLICE have charged a boy with numerous offences following reports of a burglary in Grays.

The 17-year-old boy from Dagenham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Basildon Magistrates' Court yesterday, Monday, 10 February, charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, burglary and driving without insurance.

He was remanded to appear at court on Monday, 6 April.

It follows reports a car was taken following a burglary in Wickham Road overnight on Friday, 7 February.
