Brooke Road incident. More details from police and two men have been charged
TWO men have been charged in connection with an incident in Brooke Road, Grays.
The incident was first reported on Thurrock Nub News on Thursday (15 June) after a man in his 30s was assaulted after he came across a disturbance involving three other men at around 5.45pm on 14 June.
Initially police reported two men had been arrested and released on bail but further information released now says three men were arrested and two of them have since been charged.
Hakim Mosrati, 19, of Clarence Road, Grays has been charged with two counts of affray, criminal damage, threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place, threatening a person with an offensive weapon, bladed article, or corrosive substance in a private place, assault by beating of an emergency worker, and common assault of an emergency worker.
He is next due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court on 26 July.
Karna Rai, 37, of Bedford Road, Grays, has been charged with affray. He was due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court.
A 41 year-old man from East Tilbury arrested on suspicion of affray has been released on bail until 12 September.
