A THURROCK-based music radio station is gearing up for a busy Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Quest Music Services and Thames Delta Radio, based at Quarry Hill, Grays, is not only hosting its own online event, but is managing the music stages at events at Grays Town Park, Hardie Park in Stanford-le-Hope and Purfleet-on-Thames.

Entertainment and activities over the Jubilee Bank holidays in those areas will include live music from musicians, singers and rappers, DJ sets, 'Learn to DJ' workshops, art installations, children's music games, cream teas and many more family friendly events.

Thames Delta will also host a 'create a track' workshop - presenting a final remix of "God Save the Queen" for the occasion.

Many of the events have been funded by Arts Council England
