Byte-sized help available at workshops

WORKSHOPS that will help people learn computing skills required to deal with only queries about such things as benefits and debt will be held in Thurrock later this month.

The free session will take place at The Beehive community resource on West Street in Grays on Thursday, 27 February.

There will be three workshops dealing with a range of topics.

The first, from 10am to 11.15am deals with challenging DWP benefit decisions, the second, from 11.30am to 12.45pm will assist with financial capability to deal with debts and the third, from 1.15 to 2.45pm is a session concentrating on using social media, internet shopping and appointments.

Residents are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions and free refreshments including tea, coffee and water will be supplied.
