By Neil Speight

11th Jan 2022 | Local News

THURROCK's Foodbank charity is asking residents in the local community if they might be able to help those in need in the borough.

The Corringham-based charity has issued an appeal for drivers and helpers to collect and distribute essential items.

Anyone who is interested in helping the foodbank collect donations, which includes substantial gifts from local supermarkets, and distribute food and goods to those in need is asked to email co-ordinator Ceri at [email protected].
