Car and lorry crash causes delays in Lakeside area

FOR a second morning running a crash involving a car and a lorry has caused traffic disruption in the west of tge borough.

This morning's incident happened at the roundabout linking West Thurrock Way with the arterial road, near Decathlon.

A car went underneath a lorry trailer. While the incident was being dealt with be emergency services traffic backed up on adjacent roads.

Yesterday (Monday, 10 October) two people required hospital treatment after being involved in a crash between a container lorry and a car on the A13 near Orsett. The A13 was was blocked during the morning rush hour.
