Car blaze in Tilbury was a deliberate act says fire service

FIREFIGHTERS believe that a car fire they attended in Tilbury was deliberately started.

The alarm was raised at 10.48pm on Thursday and crews responded to the fire on Dock Road.

On arrival they found the was around 80 per cent alight.

The fire was extinguished by 11.17pm.

A statement from Essex Fire and Rescue Service says: "We believe the fire was caused deliberately."
