Car crashed into trees at busy junction

The vehicle was recovered from the trees.

POLICE officers took over traffic management at the junction of Stanford Road and Buckingham Hill Road, near Stanford-le-Hope after car left the road and crashed into trees.

Traffic heading east into Stanford was diverted into Buckingham Hill Road and via Linford while the vehicle was recovered.

The junction was still partially closed at 4pm.m with expectations of opening by 4.45pm.

100 and 200 buses services were diverting via the A13.
