PURFLEET Care Centre has been rated 'good' following its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Its report applauded the practice for delivering care in a way that keeps patients safe and protects them from avoidable harm, and for providing 'effective care and treatment' to meet patients' needs.
The health and social care regulator also praised the way that the service adjusted during the covid-19 pandemic.
Kate Adams, service manager at Purfleet Care Centre said: "This is a great reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team. We're thrilled to have been rated 'good' following the inspection.
"I'm extremely proud of our team who are committed to delivering quality care and making a positive difference to the lives of people in Thurrock."
Kate added the practice is always looking for ways that it can further improve the service it provides to patients and encourages any feedback or suggestions. Patients can join the Patient Participation Group to really make a difference and be part of the ongoing development of the service.
