TILBURY'S Lansdowne Primary Academy is celebrating a successful Ofsted inspection, having officially been awarded the judgement of 'Strong' across all evaluated areas of the Ofsted framework, under the new inspection toolkit.
A standout theme throughout the report was the experience of pupils and the positive culture across the school.
Inspectors recognised a community where children feel supported, valued and inspired to succeed, highlighting pupils' enthusiasm for learning, strong relationships with staff and the pride they take in being part of the school.
The report reflected how pupils actively contribute to school life through leadership opportunities, demonstrate the school's core values in their everyday actions and benefit from an environment where high expectations and pastoral support help every child to thrive.
Inspectors found that pupils "love coming to school", arriving excited to learn and showing high aspirations for their future.
They praised the calm, purposeful environment and recognised pupils' resilience and determination to succeed.

The report highlighted the strong relationships pupils have with staff, noting that children trust adults to provide support when they need it and benefit from consistently high expectations throughout their school journey.
Pupil voice and leadership were also recognised as strengths, with inspectors noting that pupils proudly take on leadership responsibilities and demonstrate the school's core values through kindness, inclusion and respect.
Alongside this, Ofsted praised the school's academic outcomes, recognising the impressive progress pupils make and the strong support in place to ensure disadvantaged pupils and pupils with special educational needs [SEND] achieve highly.
Head of school Dan George said: "We are incredibly proud that this report captures not only the quality of education at Lansdowne Primary Academy, but the experience our pupils have every day. The comments about pupils' confidence, kindness, aspirations and love of learning reflect exactly what we strive to create as a school community."
Viki Reid, CEO of The Gateway Learning Community, added: "This outcome recognises a school culture that places children at the centre of everything we do. We are delighted that inspectors recognised the strength of pupil experience and the opportunities children have to flourish both academically and personally, allowing them to thrive and improve upon their best"
