THE funeral will take place later this week of a much-loved community stalwart from Stanford-le-Hope.

Peter Watson died on 21 February 2023. He was well known throughout Stanford for his volunteering, especially for the Stanford Blooming Marvels gardening group.

Mr Watson's funeral will be on Friday, 31 March, 3.20pm at Corbets Tey.
