THANKS have been expressed by the borough-based branch of the Re-engage charity would like to the Procter and Gamble Benevolent Fund.

Regional co-ordinator Loraine Coleman said: "The fund has so generously awarded our lovely charity £500. This has been made possible because of the generosity and regular giving by P&G employees who are passionate about supporting the incredible work that goes on in the local community here in Thurrock.

"We are so delighted to be a beneficiary of this generous funding. Thank you so much to our lovely volunteer Eylem Es for requesting this funding from P&G.

"This amazing donation is going towards our Queens Jubilee celebration where it will be the first time all tea party guests and volunteers will come together since the beginning of Covid. We are all so excited for this event made possible by Procter & Gamble. Thank you all so much from all our tea party guests and volunteers."
