Cherylea goes wild in the park

By Neil Speight 2nd Nov 2020

PEOPLE power is being exemplified on a part of Grays Beach park which is being renovated by a local resident.

Cherylea Cater has made a commitment to looking after a small part of the park, which she will turn into a wild garden.

Cherylea says: "The local park have kindly given me permission to turn this overgrown patch into a wild garden.

"I am no gardener and only get to work on it during my lunch times but every day is a step closer to eventually creating a space for nature to grow.

"The hope is to attract much needed pollinators, birds, bugs and whatever other creatures would like to come."
