THE Force is definitely with a Thurrock man as he attempts to raise money for good causes.

Christopher Griffin – otherwise known as the Essex Trooper, a Cosplay Star Wars trooper – yesterday (Wednesday, 1 June) – completed a charity eight kilometer walk in full combat gear from his home in Southend Road, Corringham,. around the town and back, aiming to raise funds for Prostate UK. And on Saturday, 11 June, Chris will be at the Corringham Morrisons for a fundraising event organised by the Essex Cosplayers Group, of which he is the charity liaison officer. Members will be hosting a fundraising collection on the day.
