Club's summer time boost for Hardie Park

STANFORD-le-Hope's community park has been boosted by a donation from the Rotary Club of Mardyke Valley.
The donation came following a presentation about the park and its facilities, including its cafe, by Friends of Hardie Park trustee Chris Meads who attended a club meeting at Ye Olde Plough House.
As a result the Rotary Club decided to support the park by topping up the stock of decking tables and chairs, ready for summer '24
Steve Walker from Mardyke Valley Rotary Club presented the cheque to Jill and Sheila at Hardie Park after enjoying tea and a chunk of the cafe's famous Bread Pudding …
Mr Meads said: "Thanks to one and all at Rotary for supporting Friends Of Hardie Park."
